Who is essential to you? Costa Rica wants to reward them.

This holiday season, Visit Costa Rica is launching a campaign to celebrate those who are essential to our lives. The country’s tourism promotion organization is awarding 15 individuals with trips for two to Costa Rica in 2021.

This pandemic has turned our world topsy-turvy. Parents have become teachers, healthcare workers have become superheros and many have had to adapt to new careers and lives in isolation.

We deserve a break.

With various vaccines on the horizon, we can all use a little travel inspiration for when the world becomes a little less scary.

Visit Costa Rica is calling on travelers to nominate a person that has made a meaningful difference in their lives through the “Who Is Essential to You” campaign and trip giveaway. Nominations from all across North America will be accepted here for a chance to win a seven-day trip for two to Costa Rica.

Are you so inspired you want to plan your own Costa Rica adventure right now? Bordered by the Caribbean Sea on the east and the Pacific Ocean on the west, Costa Rica has long been a popular LGBTQ destination and, in May of this year, it became the first Central American country to legalize same-sex marriage.

Start your planning with the gay owned and operated travel agency GayCostaRica.com; or book your all-inclusive, all LGBTQ vacation experience when VACAYA takes over the luxury Andaz Resort in June 2022.
