I’m proud to announce that the 34th Annual NATJA Awards Competition: Recognizing Talent in Travel Journalism & Destination Marketing has awarded me the Bronze Award under “Cultural Travel” for my National Geographic article exploring the thriving Cuban culture in Louisville, Kentucky: “Looking for a taste of Cuba? This Kentucky city should be on your radar”

I’m honored to be in the company of such talented travel peers and to be recognized for an article that meant so much to me personally.
