April has been designated Autism Acceptance Month (also known as Autism Awareness Month and World Autism Month). Though organizations may choose different language to mark the month, they are united behind the goal: to drive awareness and increase inclusivity for the autism community. And that includes the travel industry.

Although the autism spectrum is broad, autistic individuals and their families face many challenges while traveling.
