To commemorate the 10-year anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks, one London gallery is honoring the real-life heroes — the firemen and policemen who protect us every day — by imbuing them with the invincible spirit of fictional superheroes. From Sept. 16 to 22, Eleven Fine Art (11 Eccleston Street; 44-20-7183-3577; www.elevenfineart.com) will host “Supermen — An Exhibition of Heroes,” a new series of collages by Ben Turnbull that creates images of modern heroes from fragments of vintage comic book idols.
